Sophie Cundale is an artist based in London currently working on her first novel. Recent work has been presented with Barbican Centre, Ginny on Frederick, Rose Easton, The Perimeter, Somerset House, Castello Di Rivoli and The Industrial Art Biennale 2025. Previous work has been shown with Kapp Kapp Gallery (NYC) Serpentine Galleries (London) Temporary Gallery (Cologne) Spike Islan (Bristol) Govett-Brewster Gallery (New Zealand) AMINI festival (Belfast) VCD festival (Beijing) Chisenhale Gallery (London) and Innsbruck Biennale (Austria) and hosted on vdrome.org. Her first major solo show opened at South London Gallery in 2020, with a large scale film work commissioned by Film and Video Umbrella.
